Flu Clinics Starting Soon
Planned Flu clinics starting from Saturday 16th September 2023.
Flu invitations will be sent within the next week, once confirmation has been received from the Commissioners as to when we are able to start the vaccination programme this year.
You will be able to book directly into available slots, bypassing the receptionists and long telephone waiting queues if you have a mobile phone.
Groups will be prioritised as per the guidelines provided to the surgeries.
Eligible Patient Groups
- All patients aged 65 years and over
- Chronic respiratory disease aged 6 months and over
- Chronic heart disease aged 6 months and over
- Chronic kidney disease aged 6 months and over
- Chronic liver disease aged 6 months and over
- Chronic neurological disease aged six months and over
- Diabetes aged 6 months and over
- Immunosuppression aged 6 months and over
- Asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen aged 6 months and over
- Pregnant women
- Morbidly obese (class III obesity)
- Close / Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals aged 6 months and over
- Frontline workers (vulnerable care setting health and social care staff, Direct patient care)
- People in long stay residential homes
