We are pleased to confirm that we will again be delivering the COVID-19 booster vaccination on behalf of NHS England during April, May and June.

 

Who can get a spring COVID-19 vaccination?

You are eligible if you are:

  • Aged 75 years or over (by 30 June 2024)
  • Aged 6 months or over and have a weakened immune system  (the surgery can only provide vaccinations for patients over the age of 17)  This includes the following criteria:
    • Organ, bone marrow or stem cell transplant patients.
    • Those being treated with systemic steroids for more than a month.
    • Those living with HIV.
    • Those receiving immunosuppressive or immunomodulating biological therapy, including children who are about to receive therapy.
    • Those undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
    • Those who require long-term treatment for immunosuppression
    • Those with a history of haematological malignancy including chronic leukaemia, lymphomas, and leukaemia.
    • Those with genetic disorders affecting the immune system.
  • If you are a resident in a nursing home / care home

It is recommended that you get a spring COVID-19 vaccination 6 months after your last dose. It must be at least 3 months (91 days) since your last COVID-19 vaccination. You can get your spring COVID-19 vaccination regardless of your previous vaccination history.

Household contacts of people with a weakened immune system are not eligible with this Co-hort.
